This policy describes how FundsOrigin uses cookies and similar technologies. Necessary storage is always active. Analytics cookies are optional and load only after you consent.

You can accept all, reject all, or configure categories via the banner or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Your choice is stored in first-party storage for about nine months.

Necessary storage

Session cookie (Django sessionid): maintains your signed-in session when you use an account. Duration: session or up to two weeks depending on “remember me”. Provider: FundsOrigin (first party).

CSRF cookie (csrftoken): protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Duration: session or one year. Provider: FundsOrigin (first party).

Locale preference (crs_locale): remembers your language choice. Duration: up to one year. Provider: FundsOrigin (first party).

Cookie consent record (fo_cookie_consent_v1 in local storage): remembers your analytics choice. Duration: about nine months. Provider: FundsOrigin (first party).

Analytics cookies (optional)

Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*): used only if you enable analytics cookies. Purpose: aggregated statistics on site usage. Provider: Google. Typical duration: up to 24 months. IP anonymisation is enabled; ad signals are disabled.

These cookies are not set if you reject analytics or withdraw consent.

Cookieless analytics

We use self-hosted Umami analytics without cookies or persistent identifiers in your browser. It loads regardless of the analytics cookie toggle because it does not store data on your device. Only the public tracker endpoints are served on this domain; the Umami admin is reachable on the server via SSH tunnel only.
